MILK LOGO REBRAND
Branding.Typography. Print. Digital.
PURPOSE
This project was given to me during the Graphic design IV. A very recent project that I take pride in as it came out very successfully. This was a branding project where we had to choose a client with an outdated logo, ad revamp it. I chose the clothing store MILK which is situated in the downtown market. Their target audience is the young adults and “millennial generation” so I did not want to stray away from their aesthetic. I found inspiring logos to spark my creativity and came up with over 30 concepts. It all led me to one, and it was the perfect choice.
PROCESS
To start, I had to sketch as many concepts as I could. Every week I had to narrow it down until I had around 3 left. This led to the digitization and colour choices. That process took a little longer as the refinements all have to adhere to the brand. After finally choosing my logo, I created a whole branding guide for it. It came together fairly quick near the end but lasted almost 8 weeks. I got some constructive criticism from my professor that helped me finish with a well polished logo.
RESULT
The final result came with multiple applications and uses. The guide allows anyone to see how it should be used. I enjoyed making this logo and I believe it reflects the company well.
