LEGO AD CAMPAIGN
Motion Graphics. Educational. Illustration.Typography.
PURPOSE
This project introduced us to advertisement and was given during Graphic Design III. The client I chose was Lego, and with a preference for the vehicle builds, I chose the Porsche 911. The goal of the project was to take a single product and make an entire ad campaign for it. The target audience of my campaign are young adults as it is a more complicated set to build. I decided to stay on the build/car theme and incorporated a blueprint pattern.
PROCESS
This project started out very small. I tried to think of many ways to incorporate the porsche brand to the design elements. I narrowed it down to 2 options: having the actual Lego build in a german setting or have a blueprint split, to which I chose the latter. Once I knew my concept, the project started to come together very quickly. The only feedback I recieved from my professor was to keep all my content aligned. I then went in and made sure everything connected together from type to logos.
RESULT
The final product came out exactly how I envisioned it. I loved the way everything fit together and how there was a cohesive style. To make it even better, I would definitely have the actual product to take photos of. I only had internet pictures and some were not good quality. I learned that a lot of work goes into a big campaign.
